Plenary Talks

Plenary talks are given by eminent scientists from across the range of disciplines represented at NAM.

The plenary talks will all be given in the Faraday Lecture Theatre (capacity of 280 persons). The plenary talks will also be live streamed in the next door Frankland Lecture Theatre providing additional overspill capacity of 140 persons. Questions will unfortunately only be taken from the Faraday LT audience.

NOTICE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Prof. Joseph Silk's plenary lecture on Wednesday has been cancelled.  Instead, Prof. Chris Lintott (University of Oxford) has kindly agreed to give a replacement lecture entitled "From Galaxy Zoo to LSST: Citizen Science and the Age of Big Data".
