Time-domain astronomy with the next-generation Liverpool Telescope
The 4-metre New Robotic Telescope has been selected by the STFC as a priority future project for the UK astronomical community. With the design phase underway the time is right to bring together the UK time-domain community to discuss the science goals for this new facility. Concept designs, guided by input from potential future users, are already well advanced and we encourage discussions on the competing and complementary science requirements and drivers. Science talks are welcomed from (but not restricted to) the areas of GRBs, supernovae, novae, AGN, TDEs, Gaia transients, binaries, radio counterparts, GWs, neutrino astronomy, comets, exoplanets, minor planets and non-time-domain science cases.
