Building a community drawing from the widest range of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences is imperative for (among other things) maximising creativity and innovation. Unfortunately, astronomy—like other STEM disciplines—remains characterised by a striking lack of equality and diversity. Accordingly, we invite talks and discussions on a number of pertinent themes including challenges faced by under-represented and marginalised groups; discrimination and protected characteristics; bullying and harassment; mental health; and best practices for making astronomy more equitable, diverse, and inclusive. As in last year’s well-supported equality & diversity session at NAM/EWASS, we welcome contributions from academics, students, and experts outside astronomy.
